Meet Our Team

Who We Are

Meet the friendly faces behind of the Diverse Queensland Workforce program.

Stella Romagnoli

Stella has been working as a Multicultural Worker for Caloundra Community Centre since 2016 and she is now based at Baringa Community Centre as the Diverse QLD Workforce Program Coordinator.

She was 2025 finalist of Sunshine Coast Professional Businesswoman of the Year and nominated as Sunshine Coast Senior Citizen of the Year in 2022 for her advocacy and support to the migrants' community. She is passionate about cultural diversity and how culture shapes us as human beings. She provides information, assistance and connections between migrants who are looking for employment and the broader community. She also educates the mainstream community about challenges that migrants face in their journey of settlement and employment.

Silvia Castillo

Silvia Castillo is a social worker and community development enthusiast committed to social justice, equity, and inclusion. Originally from Colombia, she moved to Australia 10 years ago and now proudly calls the Sunshine Coast home.

As a Case Manager, Silvia supports individuals and families to navigate services, access opportunities, and build strong community connections. In this role, she also supports professional migrants by equipping them with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to thrive in their careers locally.

Alongside her professional work, Silvia is an active community leader and advocate for multicultural communities. She is a member of the Multicultural Advisory Group (MAG) with Sunshine Coast Council and the Women’s Ethnic Network (WEN) Queensland, contributing to initiatives that strengthen inclusion, representation, and social cohesion across the region.

Nike (Nika) Adityarini

Meet Nike (pronounced Nika), the creative mind behind DQW’s website, flyers, and a wide range of visual and communication materials. Originally from Indonesia, Nike holds a degree in Communications and brings a diverse professional background, having worked as a magazine editor, TV presenter, and small business owner. Through her business, she collaborated closely with a marketing company and a designer involved in New York Fashion Week.

As a migrant herself, Nike understands firsthand the challenges many migrants face on the Sunshine Coast. This lived experience fuels her passion for supporting and empowering migrant communities. She is delighted to contribute her skills and creativity alongside the DQW team to help make a meaningful difference.
