Stella Romagnoli

Stella has been working as a Multicultural Worker for Caloundra Community Centre since 2016 and now based at Baringa Community Centre as the DQW Program Coordinator.

She was nominated as Sunshine Coast Senior Citizen of the Year in 2022 for her advocacy and support to the migrants community. She is passionate about cultural diversity and how culture shapes us as human beings. She provides information, assistance and connections between migrants who are looking for employments and the employers. She also educates the mainstream community about challenges that migrants face in their journey of settlement and employment.

Silvia Castillo

Meet Silvia, one of our project workers. She was born in Colombia and migrated to Australia eight years ago, now established in The Sunshine Coast and fascinated with the region.

She is committed to social justice and equality, and her ultimate goal is to advocate for change in society and positively impact people's lives. Throughout her experience as Social Worker and Economist, she believes that supporting a growing multicultural community is key for the success of an inclusive and diverse Sunshine Coast .

Davinia Vella

Davinia is a migrant herself from Malta. After landing in Australia in 2011, Davinia struggled to find employment on the Sunshine Coast. This led her to establish and run a successful business for many years. She is well versed on the labour market needs and connections on the Sunshine Coast and has worked with many migrants and multicultural persons while delivering various projects within this space.

Davinia holds qualifications in International Relations, International Business and Social Enterprise and has a lifelong passion of supporting people to become their best self: personally, financially and within their community.

DQW Admin

Nike Adityarini

Meet Nike, the DQW admin who is also responsible for designing DQW Website as well as DQW program and workshop flyers. She was from Indonesia and her name is pronounced Nika. She holds a degree in Communication and previously had been working as a Magazine Editor, TV presenter, and owned a small business where she collaborated with a marketing company and a designer for New York Fashion Week.

As a migrant, she also experienced the challenges most migrants are facing at the Sunshine Coast, hence her passion to support other migrants. She is delighted to use her creative skills to do this alongside the other DQW team members.
