The newly established Beerwah Neighbourhood Centre (BNC) is a vital
central hub for the community. The purpose of the Centre is to create a
welcoming, safe, and inclusive space where people can find a sense of
belonging in a supportive environment.
What happens at the Beerwah Neighbourhood Centre?
The Centre will bring together various community activities and groups
under one roof, providing a dedicated and affordable space for groups to meet.
The Centre’s primary functions include:
• Community Connection: Offering a place for people to grow
friendships, build social support, and feel valued as an active citizen.
• Information and Support: Providing a central location for residents
to access information and support services.
• Community Action: Creating a space where people can come
together to work collectively to contribute to local solutions.

The Glass House Country Welfare Network is a bi-monthly meeting for organisations and community groups who provide support to our local community. Its purpose is to strengthen connections, increase awareness of local services, support effective information sharing and referral pathways, and identify opportunities for collaboration, advocacy, and collective action around shared concerns.

If you’re looking to be active in the daily operations of the Centre, you might like to become a Centre volunteer.
This role requires induction and training but is very hands-on and particularly suits people who can give time during the day.
