Family Support Program

 

Caloundra and Hinterland Family Support provides early intervention and prevention programs to families with young children. The program is strengths-based and family-centered, supporting families living in Caloundra, Buderim and the Hinterland communities.

The program

  • The Volunteer Home Visiting Program is a free service to parents with babies or young children. Families who choose to use the Program and who meet the criteria are linked to trained volunteers known as Community Parents.

  • Parenting Courses

  • Informational and Referral Pathways.

  • Supported & Community Playgroups

Caloundra Secondary Family Support Program provides worker support to families to  build capacity within families,to solve problems and make positive choices & changes and provide linkages to community groups & support services. Families can self refer the criteria being that they live in the greater Caloundra area and have a child under 18 years of age. Please call the centre for further information about the extent on this program.
